About Us

Wallington Bowling Club is a private club situated just behind Wallington Railway station.  We currently have approximately 60 men & 45 lady bowlers.  The club was formed in 1920 and the clubhouse dates largely from that time, with a few extensions being subsequently built.  See History for more details.

The ladies opened their brand new “pavilion” changing room a couple of years ago, putting the men’s one to shame!

Both men & ladies play bowls in their respective East Surrey Leagues, there is a mixed triples “Vilamoura” league and the men also play in the Tons’ League.  See our Fixtures for more details.

The club’s registered colour is Cambridge Blue, which these days is a feature on a mainly white bowling shirt.

The club is open all year round, with lots of social activities throughout the close season.  This includes 2 full-size snooker tables & 2 dart boards.  See SOCIAL section for more.
